In November, we starting holding some of our classes at a new location in Portland, OR: the Portland English Language Academy.
The Portland English Language Academy (or PELA) is a world-class English language learning center, where students from around the world become great English communicators. According to their mission statement, their language instruction is “tailored to the diverse language needs of students from multiple cultural backgrounds. We provide opportunities for students to explore, discover, and learn English in all its uses, building the skills it takes to communicate effectively.”

PELA is in a great location, on the 3rd floor of the Lloyd Center, past the Food Court in the northwest corner. If you’re taking one of our classes at PELA, here is the easiest way to get there:
Enter the parking garage at NE 10th and Halsey St. Turn right and go up the spiral ramp in the corner of the parking garage all the way to the top roof deck (Floor 3). Park in DD or EE, and enter the Lloyd Center through the doors with burgundy tiles. PELA is located just inside on the right.
Look for signs to direct you to the room we’re in that day!
