One of my favorite things about being an Intuit ProAdvisor is that I actually get to help guide and troubleshoot product development.
This week I was working with a client who carries a vast inventory, and when we ran reports, the products were listed under the wrong heading. When I looked at the product, it had been created correctly. So the problem had to be with the report itself.
As a Diamond ProAdvisor, I have a direct phone number to high-end QuickBooks Online support. And because I do so much of it, I have a contact at the very top who I can email as needed. I sent him a copy of the Inventory report. Lo and behold, I had identified an issue with the software no one else had discovered! Two days later, they rolled out a fix.
