Look What I Found! QuickBooks Payment Links!
Do you need to send a client a quick link to get paid, without an invoice that adds to A/R? Using Payment Links in QuickBooks Online gives you the flexibility to ask for money in a whole new way.
This new option appears in QBO in the Business View when you have QuickBooks Payments merchant services.
The feature emails a payment link, generates a hyperlink that you can copy and send by text, and offers a QR code as well.
All methods lead straight to your QB Payments portal so that your clients can pay by credit card or ACH.
After your client pays, QuickBooks Online creates a Sales Receipt automatically.
Did QuickBooks do away with Payment Links?
They’re still there. In fact, there’s now a tab for them in some of the Sales centers!
Hi! Thank you for the insights. I just started using these, and it was helpful.
Just a note that to use the QR code, you can just right-click, then ‘Save As’, which will let you save the QR code as an image and then paste/insert it wherever you want.
Hello ,
So, do we have to pay fees? What are the rules about the fees that Quickbook offers?
It’s part of the built-in QuickBooks Payments Merchant Services, so the cost depends on how you signed up (ProAdvisors get discounted rates, and there’s pay-as-you-go and monthly fee options). If you sign up through me at https://completebusinessgroup.com/royalwise-solutions/ you can get the cheapest fees.
