We were recently contacted by a marketing firm about expanding our Facebook presence. Here are some of the slides they showed me. I threw this video together quickly because I thought you might like to see them too. Enjoy!
I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, my life is MY life, and I’m not a commodity. On the other hand, I’d much rather see sidebar ads about things I’m interested in than monster trucks and dresses (no offense to people who like monster trucks… or dresses!).
And, on the third hand (I have a third eye, too!), when Royalwise does advertise on Facebook, it’s nice to know we’ll reach people who are genuinely interested in computers… even if they do like monster trucks wearing dresses….
