The XFINITY Connect app allows you to check your voicemail from your iPhone – very handy! You can also use it to take calls on your iPhone that were dialed to your home number, or make calls from your home line! And, it allows you to check your email, however, Comcast is problematic because Mail won’t match your computer.
We recommend that people with comcast.net email addresses use this app for their email instead of the Mail app because in the past, most computers set up comcast.net as POP instead of iMAP, and people have trouble because their iPhones and computers don’t sync their messages properly. Using the app changes the email on the server, which cascades to the computer.
