Nurture Realty is highlighting Alicia Pollock this month! You may
remember Jamie Pollock from last month’s community highlight.
Jamie is the lucky husband of this fabulous woman and would
likely agree he hit the jackpot! Alicia and Jamie own and
operate royalwise.com. They offer technical help for all of your
computer needs. Royalwise provides computer software
training and support specializing in QuickBooks Online, Apple
Training and Support (iMac, MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, etc),
Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Workplace Productivity App
Training.
Before Royalwise, Alicia started her adventure as an entrepreneur in 1996 with Wandering Star
Jewelry where she created astrologically inspired jewelry and gifts.

”In non-Covid times, Alicia travels the country speaking at conferences and as part of Intuit’s
Certification Road Show.
Alicia has also partnered with the Portland Woodard Group to provide an equity scholarship to a
BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) bookkeeper in the Portland area who is just starting
out or is struggling to grow. The money raised by Royalwise will cover the cost of a 1-year
Woodard Alliance membership which offers training and special access to an accounting tech
knowledge exchange. She includes a full membership in her mentorship program as well.
As if all of this wasn’t enough, Alicia is the Dungeon Master of her Dungeon and Dragons group!
We won’t mention her typing speed, trivia night via Zoom is a serious challenge when Alicia
joins!
A good friend has this to say, “Their examples of selflessness and community spirit doesn’t end
there. They have taken in so many friends in need over the years and provided them with
shelter, a place to live, food to eat, and resources for bettering their situation, all for free and
never asking for anything in return. If everyone had the sense of community that Jamie and
Alicia do, there would be no hunger, and a lot less homeless families on the streets.”
