Knowify, the QBO App for Contractors

Table of Contents

KnowifyKnowify Residential Construction Management Software

All contractors using QBO should take a look at Knowify. If you are using QuickBooks Online for a construction company, you’ve noticed that you’re limited in your project management and job costing. That’s not a flaw of QBO. It’s more that Intuit recognizes the needs of contractors is different than, for example, a service-based business.

That’s where Knowify.com comes in. You would use this website to manage your construction project. It gives you a high-level ability to manage your projects and resources.

Some of the things you can do are:

  • Manage project contracts, documents, and photos
  • Progress Invoicing
  • Change Order Tracking
  • Allocate resources including equipment and labor
  • Job cost your materials
  • Smartphone check-in and check-out
  • Subcontractor management
  • Budget vs Actual reports
  • Full labor burden reporting

…and much more, of course!

Here’s a video of a tour I took with Terrin back in 2015. The software has improved even more since then, but this will give you an idea of how it can solve your problems and help you manage your growing construction business.
